It’s that time of year when the air turns cooler and we everyone gets excited for family photos. I’ve photographed families all of DFW the last ten years and I have so many amazing locations to choose from for your family session. One of my favorites is at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in west Plano. It is a gorgeous field that is constantly changing with the seasons. An outdoor field session is always a classic backdrop for your family portraits. Surprisingly, Dallas fields have gorgeous, natural color change starting in September.
My family photo sessions are almost always during golden hour. I want your images to feel warm, and golden hour is the perfect time. Throughout the fall, this field transforms each week with beautiful golden light and a constant change in color. When you arrive the fun begins!
I always like to start my sessions with some great, classic shots. Photos that are perfect for holiday cards and to hang on your wall. Then I like to get photos of the kids together and each kid so you can remember them at that moment in time. In between, I mix in a lot of different poses and angles so you have a diverse gallery, full of great images of you and your family.
