What you wear should reflect the industry and message you are trying to tell to your customers. A little preparation before the session goes a long way. If you are also including team photos, it is important everyone coordinates their colors and style prior to the session. During the booking process, I go over all of these details to ensure you have a cohesive look for your team.
Layering is a key component. Including a jacket, tie, glasses, sweater or accessory is a great way to add texture and dimension. They help complement your outfit and define your personality. When it comes to color, you want to stay away from neon’s or overly bright colors. These bold colors and patterns will take away from you and the overall image. Instead opt for classic colors and patterns that will allow you to use your updated headshot for a long period of time.
