Modern New Build for Everyday Living

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Heritage Blue Homes for a few years, and I always look forward to photographing their projects. Every home has its own personality, but this one felt especially exciting because it was a brand-new build from the ground up.

One of my favorite spaces in the home is the office and adjoining bar area. The rich, dark finishes create a moody atmosphere that feels sophisticated and inviting. It’s the kind of space that immediately draws you in and proves that darker tones can make just as much of a statement as bright, open rooms. Dark rooms can sometimes be tricky to photograph, because you don’t want to loose detail in the shadows. With a careful approach, and fine tuning of the light, I was able to highlight the colors and textures in this space.

The kitchen is filled with natural light thanks to an abundance of windows. The oversized island anchors the room, while the custom range hood serves as a true focal point. Throughout the home, beautiful stone details tie each space together. From the exterior to the interior finishes, the natural textures add warmth, character, and a sense of permanence that perfectly complements the home’s clean architectural lines.
