I’m here to talk about he number one question when it comes time to take your senior portraits. What should I wear??? For your senior portraits to express your style, we need to make sure the outfits are right. This is the time when you can really go for it to express you and your style. It’s important you stick with styles you love. Have fun with your looks, but make sure you love how they feel.

Dress it Up
Senior portraits is the time to really elevate your daily style. During your session remember, there is no such thing as too dressed up.
For girls, I recommend choosing short or long, flowing dresses or skirts. They’re flattering on all body types, look amazing on camera and bring extra movement and dimension to your photos. Dresses give the best “twirl factor,” add more style to your walking photos.

For guys, if you aren’t someone who likes to dress up or ever wear a suit jacket, I don’t recommend doing it now. In order to make the pictures look most like you they should be a slightly elevated version of an outfit you would normally wear. Don’t try to push yourself too far outside your comfort zone!

Let’s talk layers and props.
You may want to include something more during your session. Your favorite denim with a cool graphic tee and add your favorite boots. Layering hats, great shoes and accessories will add more dimension to your photos too.

Remember, if you haven’t been in front of a camera before, I will help pose and guide you so your senior photos reflect you and your personality. I want your photos to reflect confidence and fun.
